Recorrimos Austria en autocaravana y llegamos por primera vez al Waldviertel. Justo al final, el agente inmobiliario nos mostr\u00f3 un viejo molino abandonado junto al Thaya.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.elmolino.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/el-molino-ruine-1991-dach-tor-1024x681.jpg\" alt=\"Die M\u00fchle 1991, kurz nach dem Kauf\" width=\"760\" height=\"505\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Una ruina y una decisi\u00f3n del coraz\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>El molino Modlisch, antigua granja del castillo de Schwarzenau, llevaba a\u00f1os vac\u00edo, con tejados y ventanas rotos y el terreno lleno de maleza. La raz\u00f3n no lo habr\u00eda comprado. Nosotras s\u00ed, a cr\u00e9dito. Despu\u00e9s desbrozamos, construimos, revocamos y cubrimos el tejado, a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o, junto con amigos y profesionales.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.elmolino.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/el-molino-aufbau-anpacken-1024x689.jpg\" alt=\"Asha und Marie-Luise packen beim Aufbau mit an\" width=\"760\" height=\"511\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Un lugar de fuerza<\/h3>\n<p>Bajo el viejo revoque aparecieron grandes ventanas con arcos, y volvimos a abrir el molino. Un geomante nos cont\u00f3 que est\u00e1 construido seg\u00fan la proporci\u00f3n \u00e1urea, sin un solo \u00e1ngulo recto. Los hu\u00e9spedes suelen decir: \u00abEs como volver a casa.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.elmolino.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/el-molino-aufbau-dachdecken-1024x698.jpg\" alt=\"Gemeinsam beim Dachdecken\" width=\"760\" height=\"518\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Dos inundaciones: 2002 y 2024<\/h3>\n<p>Dos veces entr\u00f3 el Thaya en la casa, en 2002 y en septiembre de 2024, en plena despedida de Yod. Las dos veces vinieron amigos, hu\u00e9spedes y ayudantes de cerca y de lejos a echar una mano. Pudimos aprender a aceptar ayuda.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.elmolino.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/el-molino-hochwasser-2024-innenhof-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Hochwasser September 2024 im Innenhof\" width=\"760\" height=\"570\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Hoy<\/h3>\n<p>Para la primavera de 2025 hab\u00edamos reconstruido el molino, m\u00e1s bonito que antes y mejor preparado: con suelos de travertino y muebles que se pueden levantar.
