Sie entspringt in der N\u00e4he von Schweiggers und durchflie\u00dft Vitis, Schwarzenau, Waidhofen an der Thaya, Thaya, Dobersberg und Karlstein an der Thaya. Nach 75,8 km vereinigt sie sich in Raabs an der Thaya mit der M\u00e4hrischen Thaya (Thaya auf Tschechisch: Dyje).<\/p><h3><strong>Die Thaya \u2013 Fluss mit Seele<\/strong><\/h3><p>Ob als Grenzfluss oder Lebensader: Die Thaya ist im Waldviertel allgegenw\u00e4rtig. Sie schl\u00e4ngelt sich durch dichte W\u00e4lder, vorbei an kleinen Orten und uralten M\u00fchlen \u2013 wie in Modlisch bei Schwarzenau, wo der Fluss seine Spuren hinterlassen hat.
